Jab Mallika Om Puri ke film Bin Bulaye Baraat ke liye ek item number shoot kar rahi thi, tab Om Puri had expressed his desire to work with Mallika, aur ab unki yeh khwaish bhi puri ho gai hai, if you will forgive the pun. Dirty Politics is based on the story of Bhanwari Devi, joki Rajasthan mein ek mid wife thi. She was murdered by by a Rajasthani politician last year. Mallika plans to meet Bhanwari Devi's family members in Jaipur ta ki woh Bhanwari Devi ko samajh sake. Mallika kehti hai ki agar unhe iss role ke liye weight put on karna hoga toh bhi woh iss ke liye tayyar hai.
